Description |
The doll is wearing a caribou skin parka with an oversize hood. The parka is longer in the back than in the front. Orange wood is used as trim on the hood. There is a blue and red beaded fringe along the collar. Blue and red beaded decoration is also used along the lower edge of the parka, on the cuffs, along the waist, and down the centre of the longer section of the back. The doll's face is carved from wood but it has no features. The doll is also wearing orange wool mittens. The doll's pants are made from seal fur and it is wearing a pair of high, light coloured leather boots. Unidentified artist. |
