Description |
Six identical milk bottle caps made from waxed cardboard. They are circular with red and blue lettering on a white background. Printed on the face of each cap is "Pasteurized At/Burkhardt/Dairy/Table Cream". There is a brown pull tab with a staple in the centre of each cap. The reverse is blank. |

History |
Burkhardt Dairy was founded by Lloyd Arnold Burkhardt (1900-1962) sometime in the 1920s. The dairy was located at the corner of Breithaupt and Lancaster Streets in Kitchener, ON. The dairy was purchased by Maple Lane Dairy in 1952. |
