Description |
Coiled saltwater grass basket with a detached lid. Both the lid and the body are made from natural and dyed grass. The lid has a coiled handle in the centre, and four geometric decorations on the top. Each decoration is made from alternating squares of red and green grass. The base of the lid is narrow than the top allowing it to slide into the body. The body is bulbous in shape and narrower at the bottom. The side of the body is also decorated with four geometric decorations, larger versions of those on the lid. The artist's information is handwritten on a piece of paper inside the basket. |
