.1 Inter@ctive Pager 850 handheld wireless device. Moulded black plastic body. Silver "RIM" logo centred above the screen. QWERTY keyboard with white letters and yellow symbols. Thumb operated trackwheel and ESC key on right side of screen. Docking/charging terminal on right side of the bottom. .2 Moulded black plastic holder with belt clip. Pager slides into the holder. "RIM" cast into the plastic on the reverse of the belt clip. |

Research in Motion was founded in Waterloo, Ontario in 1984 by Mike Lazaridis and Jim Balsillie. The RIM pager was introduced in 1995, and the Blackberry in 1999. RIM is a world leader in wireless communication and devices. |
