Small, green plastic tray with a raised edge. Stamped in the centre of the tray is a red cap with "Red Cap/Ale" in white lettering below. The reverse of the tray is blank. No maker's mark. |

History |
In 1936, the Kuntz Brewery of Waterloo, ON and the Carling Brewery of London, ON amalgamated to form the Carling-Kuntz Breweries. Production was centralized at the Waterloo plant. In 1944, Kuntz was removed from the name when the company reorganized as Carling Breweries Limited. The company was sold to Labatt in 1977. The building was located at William and Caroline Streets in Waterloo and was demolished in 1993. |
