Description |
Blue baseball cap with a mesh back. There is an adjustable blue plastic strap along the lower edge of the back of the cap. Attached to the front of the cap is are two oval cut-outs made of foam that have been painted yellow. Two halves of a ping pong ball have been painted black and are attached to the foam ovals to create eyes. A foam cut-out of an antler has been attached to either side of the cap. The antlers have been painted an orangish-brown. The antlers are attached to the cap with safety pins on the interior. There is a fabric tag attached to the interior of the cap. It reads "100% Polyester/100% Nylon Mesh/Polyurethane Foam/Laminated/Adjustable/CA 08123/Made in China/A.J.M. Headwear/A.J.M. Int'l Ltd/Montreal, Toronto/Vancouver: Canada" in both English and French. |

History |
Camp Cariboo was a Canadian children's television program that aired on several CTV stations from 1986 to 1989. The show was produced by CKCO-TV in Kitchener, ON and was filmed in part on location at Ontario Camping Association camps. Reruns of the show also aired on YTV from 1989 to 1996. Camp Cariboo was co-hosted by Tom Knowlton and Mark Baldwin. Tom Knowlton continued to work at CTV Southwestern Ontario as a weather anchor, film critic, parade commentator, and host of the game show Bowling for Dollars. Mark Baldwin went on to become a professor in the Psychology Department at McGill University. |
