History |
West Side/Westside Dairy was founded circa 1910 by Herman August Behling (1866-1932). For a period of time the dairy was known as Behling Brothers and Simpson. Herman's son, Emil Carl Behling (1896-1964) is listed as the manager in most of the city directories. The dairy was located at 385 Park Street in Kitchener until the 1950s, and then it was located at 26 Elm Street as Westside Dairy. The dairy closed in the late 1960s. |
