Folded, paper recipe booklet. Title is printed on the front page with a colour image of the Dutch Girl mascot holding a baked ham. There are nine recipes pirnted on the interior, all of them using Schneider products. Each recipe is printed on a yellow, blue, or orange background. Printed along the lower edge of the back page is "These recipes have been prepared with the co-operation of/Mrs. V.C. Scriver, Director, Home Service Dept., CKCO-TV, Kitchener/Additional copies of these recipes may be had by writing to:/Advertising Department, J.M. Schneider Limited, Kitchener, Ontario". |

History |
Mrs. Scrivers Cooking Show was produced by CKCO-TV in the late 1950s to the mid 1960s. It was a daily live show hosted by Vi Scriver. Tom Rafferty and then Reg Sellner were the kitchen helpers. CKCO even published a cook book "Dear Mrs.S.". Vi Scriver came to CKCO from Robin Hood Flour Mills with a background in promotion and product demonstration. |
